She was so tiny when she got her-- here she is with Shadow. Shadow is only 1 1/2, so he's still a puppy, too. Look hard-- the puppy is in there!
Macy is about 2 1/2 months old now. She had a little ulcer in her eye-- but she's doing great now.
Here she is with Anniebelle. Anniebelle is 14 now-- and she ignores the puppy. I think Macy is trying to imitate Anniebelle-- look how they are sleeping the same.
Macy weighs about 2.2 pounds-- so tiny!
Here's Pollyanna-- she was adopted from us. (She came to us in very serious condition with burns all over her back and heartworm positive. You can't see her scars now because her hair is beautiful and covers it all. She is a wonderful girl. She likes to watch Macy from the safety of the couch. :-) She's more interested in wondering what's for supper! She's licking her lips just thinking about it.
Thanks for sharing my pictures on your blog! Let me tell you Macy is frisky and so much fun! Having a puppy is like having a baby. I have toys spread from one end of the house to the other! As much fun as the puppies are I do love my older Peke Anniebelle. All Pekes are wonderful no matter the age! I think my house is definitely full now 4 Peke's, 2 cats, and 4 teenagers. Lol! Keeps me busy. But, I love it.
ReplyDeletePuppies are IRESSISTABLE! So cute!
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing like a peke puppy - those cute photos tell it all!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLinda , may I say a special "hello" to Beth from the wonderful blog "Style Redux 2"!!!
ReplyDeleteLady Jicky-Thanks for the mention and the hello. My two blogs are Style Redux, that I write with my daughter, and Chinoiserie Chic. And thanks for letting me know about this blog and the wonderful work these folks do.
ReplyDeleteawww...Macy is adorable..Pekes are one of those breeds where they are just as adorable as grown dogs as they are pups!. I must say PollyAnna looks amazing, I remember meeting her at Acredale with hardly any fur in places & the painful looking burns and just look at her now! Just goes to show what ALOT OF LOVE can do for a rescued animal.
