CATE'S BIRTHDAY

I wrote last week about Trio and Arbie's mom going on a vacation. It was also her birthday. And what did she want for her birthday instead of presents? She wanted donations to go to Potomac Valley Pekingese Club instead of gifts for herself. She wanted the foster dogs we have to be helped. THANK YOU, CATE!! You have done this before in lieu of receiving things for yourself-- what a wonderful gift you have given to us so that we can help these Pekes.

This is Pickle. Pickle is Cate's mom's Peke. She helped with Cate's dogs while she was gone. Her house is often full of a lot of Pekes because, after all, it's "mom's house." Just like my house. I never know how many dogs will be there when my kids visit-- but they're all welcome.

Margo is about 12 now. But, she still does fine. Look at her sweet face.

This is Chewman! He was adopted from us about 3-4 years ago. He was a perfect fit for Jan, Cate's mom. Chewman loves to have Peke company. He knows Trio and Arbie so well-- but now it's time for a nap!
