Gustopher "Gus" was turned into a shelter last year because his owner was going to an assisted living home and could no longer care for him.
He traveled in style when I picked him up-- the Peke mini-van. He was so good.
He just smiled all the time. He had to have eye surgery, but he did fine. We knew he was a senior, but I adore them. They may not have as long with us, but they can give so much love while they are with us.
He found a loving home with Jean and she and her husband were thrilled to have him.
His brother, Batman, kept an eye on him.
Gustopher was at least 12 years old-- we don't know his exact age, but I think he was older. He passed away today and will be so missed by his family. Run free now, sweet little man. I know there were many there to greet you.
