FETCH THE BALL!

Dogs and fetching balls or toys go hand in hand-- or paw in paw.    Kai Kai was never one for retrieving toys.
Max likes toys-- but usually if some other dog likes it.   Then, he really wants it.   Sometimes in the yard, he will play fetch the ball, but as he's gotten older, he doesn't do it as much.
Chumley is our champion toy fetcher.   His favorite is a dumbell/ball toy.  He loves it.   It's the only one he loves.  He carries it all around, wants me to throw it ALL THE TIME.   Try getting dressed with a little toy dropping his toy at your feet continually.
 "Who me?"
In our house, dogs are not the only ones who fetch balls.
Sugar Bit has great fun with it.
The ball rolled under the glider on the porch and Sugar Bit made a valiant effort to get it.
At one point, she was really upset though-- "how do I get out of here?!"
She figured it out and came right out.
VICTORY!   She's out and so is the ball.
If we toss it again, she will go for it.
I think we will leave fetching the ball to the dogs.  Chumley will be just fine with it.

  2. Teddy is a champion dog toy chaser and fetcher - only he never brings it right back to me, he leaves it just out of my reach so I have to get up out of my chair and take it...he's such a boy! He's my best exercise partner. If it weren't for him, I'd be sleeping all day like my Weezie.
Thank you for the photos! I enjoy reading about the Pekes you save. Thank you!
