CHECK YOUR DOG'S MICROCHIP DAY

Tomorrow is Check the Chip Day.   That means you want to have your dog scanned to make sure the microchip is still in place.  You also want to make sure your information is updated.   Sometimes, people move and forget to update tags or microchip information.   It's essential!

 Desi has a microchip.   I know she would never get out-- but things can happen.   A door can be left open, the gate can be slightly ajar.   And a dog can get out.  

Chumley's microchip is firmly in place and registered with my address and phone numbers.   Jeanne is my back up.   We have both our names on the microchips of our foster dogs.   So, tomorrow, or this week, take your pet/pets to your vet to make sure the chip has not moved or somehow come out.  It can happen, even though it's rare.  So, CHECK THE CHIP this week!!
