MR. ROONEY

Minnie's son, Andy now Mr. Rooney is doing great.  Minnie, below, is with me.  They both had PTSD when they came into rescue but both are doing better.
Mr. Rooney had HGE (hemorrhagic gastroenteritis) from stress, but is has come a long way and his stomach is doing better.
From the shy, quiet, timid boy who came into rescue to a little one who has now come into his own.
His mom (here he is with a friend) said,  "He’s pretty ferocious, likes to bark at other dogs and pretend he’s a bad guy."
He has made such a nice addition to their little family.  Look how relaxed he is with his dad.
Yes, he knows how to relax now-- just like his mom!  This is Andy... and his mom is below.
Minnie looks so much like her son-- or should I say, he looks like her.  Both, sweet, white, fluffy, Pekes who have come a long way!   (And they both look so relaxed in front of the fireplace!!)

  1. It's lovely to see these PTSD sufferers come into their own after rescue, fostering and adoption. We have one of our own who took a long time for him to finally understand he was safe and much loved after a horrifying beginning at the hands of his previous owner.

I love seeing these success stories.
