Nicholas came into rescue via a shelter in Virginia. His previous owners were out of work and couldn't afford to care for him.
They let me know he turned 12 in January, and he celebrated with a lot of love in his foster home with Lisa. But, new things were coming!
Sherry, who has fostered many seniors for us, and whose foster Binks just passed away, asked if she could adopt Nicholas. We knew he would have an incredible home with her and we said YES!
Look at this happy face in his new home. He will be much loved and catered to the rest of his life. Happy day for Nicholas-- and Sherry, too!
Great early morning "Feel Good" story. Bless Nicholas' new family for enfolding this sweet little senior guy into their home.
ReplyDeleteIt's a sad thing when someone must give up their baby in situations where they can't control what has happened and they entrust their baby to a good rescue operation.
I wish all Peke babies got that opportunity.
Right now my heart is burdened with Petty's story and the miracle of being found yesterday and Linda is working her magic on him. A good meal, a warm loving family and safe home and then hopefully a great foster and finally, God willing, a wonderful family who will adopt him.
You have a great Peke there Sherry !!!
ReplyDeleteSo glad little Nicholas has a wonderful "Fur Ever" Home!!
Yeah!
