Sissy and Bogie were part of the Potomac Six. I fostered them here at my home.
Bogie is only 11 pounds, but he will put on a little bit. He's a very compact boy. Callie thought he was cute.
Sissy was older and so sweet.
They met Zoey and she thought they were fine.
The three of them snoozed a lot together on the couch. Zoey didn't mind sharing.
One time, Bogie, Sissy, Paddington and Piper were all on the ottoman. That was unusual-- it's not that big.
These two are so bonded. I have wondered if they are mother and son.
Since Sissy had been shaved down, I put sweaters on her-- the hoodie wasn't her favorite. LOL
But, she liked feeling warm and cozy, and she also liked to curl up on beds and blankets.
Meanwhile, Bogie decided he should learn some climbing skills.
"Me! Aren't I supposed to do this?"
We went to visit a possible home for them. There were new beds and everyone seemed really nice.
Sissy is shy and it was confusing for her. But, she curled up.
But, Bogie just had fun. He loves everyone.
There were new toys and beds and friends.
They came back since Bogie still needed eye surgery
He wouldn't be able to be active and play for at least a week after surgery and he will have rechecks.
His new parents couldn't wait to get him and Sissy. They would follow up his eye care and any continuing care he needed.
Sissy will be fine as long as Bogie is there to help her adjust. She was very attached to us, but she will do fine.
Bogie had new toys from his adopters to play with until he went to live with them.
They will be fine and loved and cherished. I was so happy that this couple wanted them both.
Yesterday, they both went to their new home-- but I took plenty of pictures before they left.
Pictures of them cuddled together-- close ones...
and not so close.
I'm so grateful they have a home together since they were so attached to each other.
Their new mom and dad already have new winter sweaters for them both.
They will hold them. And give them all they need.
I'm so glad I was able to love these two for the time they were with me.
Fostering means you love a lot-- even though they leave, the love still remains.
These are two precious little ones. 💕💓
I am so glad they went together and I know eye meds and appointments can be a bother sometimes BUT.... do it as it makes such a difference and perhaps you can stop further problems!
