PRECIOUS SENIORS

I love the seniors.   Everyone wants younger dogs, but the older ones need homes, too.   Many of you shared your pictures of your seniors with me.  Thank you!
Wu was adopted from us in 2012.  He's 14 now and still doing so well.  His mom adores him!
Beautiful Elizabeth is almost 15 and blind.   A lot lose their sight as they get older, but they can adjust so much better than we would.
Ming Sue, the white Peke, is almost 16.  She has a little trouble walking, but is doing great otherwise.   Mobility issues can happen as they get older, but they can overcome so much.
Harvard and his brother (picture  below), were adopted from us.  They are both seniors now.
Bruce is sleeping-- most of the seniors do that a lot.  Even the young ones like a nap!
Margie's Tribe-- I can't keep straight who is who.  Especially when they are sideways or backwards. LOL
Baby Hilda is Tammy's senior Peke-- what a fancy stroller!  It must have been a party. :-)
Sir Oliver was older when he was adopted from us.  His family loves the seniors, too.
Sophie was blind when she was adopted from me.  Blind dogs see with their hearts-- they love deeply and are so wonderful.  Don't hesitate to adopt a special dog.
Sissy and Zoey are both seniors-- at about 12 and 14.  We don't know either one's birthday, so we are guessing mostly by what the ophthalmologist said about the age of their eyes.
Oso was 16 when he passed away.  What a beautiful boy.
We aren't sure how old Applesauce is.    He could be anywhere from 11-14.  The ophthalmologist thought his eyes made he seem older.  Untreated eye issues can make a dog seem like a senior when they aren't.
Lady is a senior at 13.  You wouldn't know it!   She is still full of life and loved so much.
THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR SENIORS WITH ME!

  1. Seniors are wonderful for people who are older or disabled.... we know what we are getting into and life with a puppy is so "full on" .... a senior is more relaxing on the whole.
