Mr. Winks came into rescue in 2011.
He was a puppy, but he had so many allergies. The owner didn't know what to do.
This wasn't a hair cut-- it was the allergies on his face causing this.
He joined Lafite and Lacy in their home.
They became quite a team.
His mom restricted his diet, tried new things and Mr. Winks became a healthy boy.
He was beautiful.
He began having many health challenges the last few months. He saw specialists and was put on heart medication. But, things were still not right.
This week, he went into heart failure. He was rushed to the cardiologist who did surgery to try to save him. He made it through surgery, but during the night, his fever went up and he went into full cardiac arrest. It was incredibly sad for his parents who would have done anything to save him.
He has joined his sister, Lacy, and his brother Lafite. He is free of the challenges he had.
