Bubba came into rescue in 2014.
He was 6 years old and the owner said she was moving. He settled right in there.
They fell in love with him and adopted him. You can tell how much he loved his family.
His mom made blankets for her crew (and many other fosters) and Bubba loved curling up under them.
He also loved going on camping adventures in their RV. He was the smallest dog there and he had a gentle soul. You can see that in his eyes.
He developed kidney disease but dementia is what finally took him from his family. Dementia can cause such confusion and anxiety for them, and it was time to let him go gently. They had hoped for much more time with their boy, but sadly it didn't happen.
He now has a clear mind, and a whole, healthy body. Run find your friends at the Rainbow Bridge. Your mom and dad will see you again. Love remains. 💙
What a little sweetheart. It is so hard to lose your baby to kidney disease. I do think the dementia is part of the kidney disease in a lot of cases. I lost my 17 y.o. baby to kidney disease and she had starting having dementia in the final 6 months.
ReplyDeleteBig hugs to Bubba's family for they will miss him so.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful boy.
