She and her sister, CoCo lived in Australia. They were both rescued from being breeder dogs. Moi Moi means Little Sister or Little Girl in Cantonese. She was released when her breeder had no more use for her-- it was her ticket out! Here is one of my favorite blogs on Moi Moi.

Moi Moi had another buddy, Kenzo. Kenzo died in October of 2011.
Moi Moi and CoCo were best friends, too. Moi Moi was born in February, 2004 and just turned 11 years old. That's still pretty young for a Peke.Moi Moi had another buddy, Kenzo. Kenzo died in October of 2011.
A few weeks ago, Moi Moi was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. This can come on quickly and her mom and dad had her at the vet as soon as they realized there was a problem.
Moi Moi was at the vet several times, had some surgery that the vet thought would help her, but over the past week, she quickly declined. Melinda, her mom, is a dear friend of mine, and the tears began to fall when I received her email about Moi Moi this morning. Even though everything was done to help her, Moi Moi passed away in her mom's arms. My heart is broken.
Moi Moi can now run and play with Kenzo, with all my Pekes who have passed on (like Scooterbug and Cranberry) and she is free from all the medical problems she had. She will be so missed by her family and me. Run free now, sweet girl. We love you.
Melinda wrote this is a comment-- "Oh this is the hardest post to write.
We are so missing Moi.
Moi Moi RAN the house! Infact, she was the ONLY person who could get my hubby to do anything!!!! I couldn't ! LOL
My husband Steve will really miss his daily walk at night with Moi ... she has her regular "sniff" spots . Moi was always around me when I was doing ironing and washing so I will really miss her little heart beat at my feet.
Coco is missing her ... she looked for her this morning when I let them out to toilet.Only one little peeing peke now.
Moi is buried under my favourite Camilla tree.
Thank you for all your kind wishes and internet hugs.... we sure need them now . "
Little Moi Moi will certainly remain in our hearts.
I was deeply saddened to hear about Moi Moi passing. I have always enjoyed Lady Jicky's comments and pictures of her crew and can only imagine how devastating this is. Please know you have my deepest sympathy.
