BREAKFAST ON THE PORCH

Mistletoe was all set for breakfast on the porch.   She already had breakfast but a second breakfast would be awesome. 

I had washed toys and they were all over the table. No problem.  We can share the table w them.  Toys and pancakes go great together.  

A relaxing beginning to the day. 

Then out into the yard to explore.

The yard is shady w all the trees.  It can be a quiet place

It’s a good day w the pups. 

HOW’S HUNTER- AND JINGLE

I love getting updates.  Knowing the dogs are doing great makes all the difference for me.   When we foster, we fall in love.  And when they leave, it’s HARD.  

When Hunter and Jingle were w me, they were so happy.  

And they are still such happy boys.  

Silly boys too.  

Hunter was SO joyful at my house.  He and Jingle were constantly entertaining me.   Now they do that for their mom.  I love it!  ❤️❤️.   

 

NAME CHANGE!

 Winter is SO beautiful.   We named her Winter when she came w the Christmas dogs.  But Winter thinks she has a second name.   Her foster mom says to her (about 100 times a day) “You’re so cute!”   So now Winter thinks her other name is YOU’RE SO CUTE!”   Both names fit. 🥰

BETHANY—BEFORE AND AFTER

Bethany has settled in her forever home. She is still adjusting. It’s something most of them take time to do.  

She was 10 pounds when she was rescued.  Like the other Christmas dogs, she was very underweight and malnourished.  She also was confused about humans.  Her experience w them had not been good. 

She does zoomies when she’s happy.   She loves having Hannah to play with.  

Sunny, Hannah and Bethany are so similar looking.  Sunny is older but Hannah and Bethany are close in age and they love each other.  Hannah was a puppy when we got her in September of 2019.   She should be turning 6 this month!   🎂

Bethany has begun a brand new life with love and friends. Her mom and dad have adopted several from PVPC and  they are wonderful.   Welcome to your new forever life Bethany. 🥰
 

TOASTY IS PROUD

Toasty is so proud.  His girl graduated from college yesterday.  He couldn’t be there since he’s not a service dog.  He still thinks he should have gone.  He could have worn the college colors on his belly band.  😜

Sorry guys.  There was a service dog in training there. But you two would never qualify.  You’re just too silly. 

It as a perfect day in Charlottesville.  The clouds were overhead but it wasn’t raining.  It was in the 70s w a breeze.  Perfect!

Toasty is contemplating- his girl will be home the whole summer!  Can you see his excitement?

In late August, she will be off to begin her PhD.  Will Toasty go?   He might like living where there’s more snow.  We will see.  For now, he’s just very proud of his girl.  🎓🎓 We are, too.  ❤️
 

SUNDAY NAP

What are you doing today?   Rocco is showing us what we can do.  NAP!  He can’t quite make it into the bed but a nap is a nap!  Let’s try one today. 💤😴 
 

JACK —THEN AND NOW

Jack was in the first group of the Christmas group. 

He’s come a long way.  Look at all that fluff.  

He had  2/9 body score and needed to gain weight.  He was severely underweight but now he’s at a healthy weight.   All his medical issues have been resolved. 

He’s now the toy king 

His brother Westley may not even want them. Bit Jack is claiming them. All of them!  😂
