I’m sure he will bring Christmas cheer over the holidays. There’s nothing like a little dog to encourage all of them. Abner had some SNOW where he lives. A lot of snow!!
Must Love Pekes is a blog for those who love Pekingese -- their looks, their antics, their personalities. It is written by me, Linda, and I have been rescuing Pekingese for over 20 years. Lots of them have come through our home. We have loved them all.

ITS STARTING 🎄🎄
It’s beginning. Holiday pictures are being posted. Here’s Hunter. Hunter is 7-8 months old and is available for adoption.
Hunter WOULD get in this basket. He’s a busy puppy.
Zeke has a Christmas sweater on. It’s getting cold in Virginia! It was in the low 20’s! That’s cold! 🥶❄️
You may be wondering where are the rest of the furry residents of the ranch. Well no worries friends, they are all just their perfect little selves. They did not participate because:
1. Benny has a paralyzed larynx and partial paralysis in his back legs. So even though he loves to travel, it is not in his best interest to do so.
2. Derek is an elderly gentleman now and is easily frightened in unfamiliar surroundings. He enjoys a comfy bed.
3. Wallace has a deep seated hatred for Santa.
Nikki Galvan
Merry Christmas!
Nikki’s pups —only one saw Santa. That was Paulee, a PVPC alumni. But the rest.. Nikki said Benny has trouble using his back legs so he stayed home. Derek is an older Pit and he gets frightened easily. The funniest was what she said about Wallace. She said he has a deep seated hatred for Santa. 🤣.Monday, December 2, 2024
WELCOME BERKELEY
They asked if we could help so Lisa went to meet him. He is so sweet.
We named him Berkeley because Berkeley Plantation in Virginia is where the first Thanksgiving was held. (It was two years before the Pilgrims. You can look up the story on this site: Home | Berkeley Plantation)

FAREWELL SNUFFY
Snuffy had the best life with his siblings and parents.
He was the oldest of the 3, but he wasn't looking to be the boss.
Snuffy developed kidney disease, and everything was done to help him. When it became advanced, his mom and dad had to let him go.Hannah will surely miss her best friend, but I know Sunny will comfort her.
IT’S DECEMBER!
I made this before-- pictures of many past and current foster dogs. I remember each one and the lives they went on to have. Many many haves come through our home.Starlight and Minnie — sweaters for the cold, and love everywhere. Share your holiday or winter pictures. I'll be sharing a lot of them. ⛄❆❅
