SOPHIA FRANCESCA AT THE BEACH

Ready for vacation!
Sophia Francesca and her mom took a vacation at the beach.
Sophia brought her toys and her little pen.  She was ready to relax.
Since the summer is over, they had the whole beach to themselves.
No one was there.  No one!   Quiet.
They could sit and watch the ocean.  It was a perfect place to have morning snuggles.
The beach path was too sandy for the stroller so they continued on without it.
Sophia loves to ride in her stroller. She prefers that over walking most of the time. 😉.   Smart girl. ❤️

TULIP, PERCY AND HALLOWEEN

Tulip and Percy are doing great in their home. (They were Tinsel and Nicholas of the Christmas rescue.). Look how beautiful Tulip is now.   Amazing!
They wanted to share their costumes w me. Percy is a joker. What are you Tulip?  Your dress is awesome.
Penny was a pumpkin princess- well I’m calling her that. 🥰🎃

Percy and Tulip weren’t used to walking on a leash but they are doing better.
Penny is a senior so she would rather just lay down or ride in her stroller.
Sometimes Tulip rides w her.

This time it was Percy.
It looks like he decided to nap too.

Back home, Tulip sometimes watches out the window.  It is getting cooler so the window is probably closed now.  Autumn has arrived, leaves are falling and sweaters are coming out for people and pups.  🍂🍁🥮. Enjoy it all.

EMMI IS LOVED

Emmi came into rescue in spring of 2024.   She was in great need.
She was special needs because of so much fear.   She got that home that was perfect for her.   Her mom just sent me this hand drawn picture that she was given on her birthday.

Emmi is loved greatly and accepted just as she is by her mom and dad.   She has come a long way and is a very special girl.   Happy Sunday Emmi.  💜

ZEKE THE HALLOWEEN PEKE

Zeke decided he would be a Halloween Peke. 🎃
He was Waldo!
He’s beautiful no matter how he’s dressed.
He has a lot of talents.  Look!  He’s bringing in the paper. 😉
He can lay down on command.  (Maybe😂.)
He fetches toys. (Or maybe he just plays w them,)
His mom and dad had an older relative visiting.  Zeke became her protector and even alerted them during the night.   What a good boy.  He kept watch the entire time. Amazing.

Is this ‘playing dead’ or is this just a pooped puppy.  I think after all the Halloween activities, he is just tired.  I think most of us are after a busy night. 🎃

JOLLY, TD AND HALLOWEEN🎃

Jolly is getting ready for Halloween. What are you wearing?
He’s going as a bat.  Look at those wings. 🦇. This is a very colorful bat.
His brother TD isn’t doing so well getting dressed. Is your leg stuck?
He’s doing everything he can to avoid having a costume put on. Silly boy.
Jolly has come a long way since he came to us two days before Christmas.  His foster dad is his favorite person but he likes his mom also.  Jolly’s  dad is  talking of putting in a fence.  Hmm I wonder what that means.
What ever that is, I think Jolly is very excited about it.

🎃 HAPPY HALLOWEEN! 🎃

DALLAS, LEX AND PUMPKINS

Lex and Dallas came into rescue in 2022.
Their owner passed away and this pair wanted to stay together.
They’ve been decorating and the pumpkins are out!

Where are the Trick or treaters?  Lex is looking for them.  Don’t worry boys. They’re coming tomorrow.
Are your dogs wearing costumes?  Please share. 🎃

CAMP RUNAMUCK AND TRIPS

Hello Tuk Tuk.   You’re having company!
We went on a trip so Cinnamon. Piper, Paddington and Dickens went to camp w their cousins.  Camp w the Williamsburg Colonials was fun!

I took their food, eye meds and their couch steps.  Mine are all couch potatoes.
We went to the Midwest for a big birthday. There were deer in the yard.
Some of the trees were beginning to change.
Some were reddish and beautiful.
The one in front was awesome.
My husbands mom turned 90 years old!   Doesn’t she look awesome.
She is in good health and still has a great sense of humor.
Meanwhile at Camp Colonial, Granger was trying to nap in a paper bag.
Dickens found a squeaky toy.  Life was good!
Cinnamon was scared at first but then she remembered. “I’ve been here before!”
She curled up w my granddaughter and the rest- they took over the couch.
Flying showed us beautiful clouds.

We did have glimpses of the Midwest farmland. 😁

We loved our trip but it’s always good to be home. 🥰
