In 2017, a family turned Chewy B into a Maryland shelter.
After having him his whole life, they decided he wasn’t a good fit. 😩
He was about 9 years old when we got him.
He was adopted and loved being the only dog. Look at that smile.
His mom recently sent me new pictures of him. He’s a senior now. His face has turned white and he’s become an older gentleman.
He’s still a much loved member of the family. His forever family. ❤️

I honestly do not know how people just turn in a pet they have had for years because , now , its not a good fit!!! Horrid but ....... this was a good thing for Chewy B as he has a wonderful life and a kind and loving family!!!
Oh ... like me , Chewy has gone grey! lol
