Hurricane Ian took a huge toll on people in Florida. But, in Virginia, Ray Ray was safe and cozy.
Tina’s home lost power but her parents have a whole house generator. I want one of those! Stella said rainy days from the Hurricane storms mean it’s okay to just rest. She’s almost in the bed. 💕.
Callie usually gets in a Peke bed. She loves being outside too. But not during a storm. And for the first time, she climbed into dads chair.
She curled right up in a little ball. Today, the Hurricane continues to effect us. High waters and flooding. We will be safe. The creek will rise but our house is higher. Barty says he’s going to sleep the day away.
So is Henrietta. It’s a good day to stay inside or maybe sit on the porch and listen to the rain. (If you were effected by the Hurricane, how are you doing?)

I have been seeing your Hurricane all the time on our TV and radio.... just shocking!
Prayers to all that Hurricane Ian turned up!
Took 16 videos. :) We lost several piers and have a stranded shrimp boat on the beach but mostly made it unscathed. The goats on Goat Island in Murrells Inlet were removed before the Hurricane but their little island sustained damage, and damage to their shelter, so they won't be returning until Spring. They normally are transported to their farm for the winter in Nov. anyway. We lost power for six hours. Seemed like forever. But pales in comparison to Florida. I have friends in Cape Coral. Across the river from Ft. Myers. One I have heard from, one I have not. No power, water, gas or internet. Looks like a war zone. Prayers for Florida. Happy and I are safe in Myrtle Beach.
