Abbi was Piper's sister. (Piper was adopted from PVPC in 2013, ten years ago.) Their mom and dad had applied to adopt Piper-- and they had also applied to adopt a puppy from a local shelter-- they were approved for both!! What a happy surprise!
Abbi's mom was a puppy mill survivor who came to a shelter with her tiny puppy Abbi. (With Piper here.)
Piper and Abbi became best friends. Abbi was here with Sammy and Penny when she first arrived.
Piper was three years old at the time, and Abbi was a tiny one, but they grew up together.
When PVPC Diamond joined their home this year, Abbi accepted her very quickly. All Abbi's birthdays were celebrated.
She had her own Christmas stocking-- just like the rest of her brothers and sisters.
Her mom and dad had to say good bye to Abbi last week. She became very sick and the vets felt it was IMHA. She was only ten years old. Her parents held her as she went to the Rainbow Bridge. They miss her so much-- I know Piper and Diamond do, too. Run free now sweet girl.💜🌈
