Welcome to rescue, Leann.
Leann is a senior Peke who is 15 years old. Her mom messaged us and asked for help. There was a situation and she needed help for the safety of her sweet Peke.
Of course, we would help.
Her owner had her groomed (she said it was a bit short- that's okay, it will grow back). She lovingly gave her to us and we found out more. She entrusted us with her Peke and her situation. We consider that a privilege. When you are in rescue, you are often told many things-- it helps us understand and our heart wants to help even more.
Leann met her temporary foster siblings and will have her vet assessment on Monday to see if there is anything we can do to help her. Then, we will look for a home for her.

Oh she is such a sweet Peke.
It's so great that Leann has found safe harbor and I hope things are okay for her former owner who had to give her up.
