Winter came in the second group of the Christmas rescue. I won’t forget that day. Mistletoe, Fizziwig and Dickens were also in that group.
She became very lovable and sweet and very healthy.
But here she was when we got her. She had to be shaved because all the matting went to her skin. (That’s Mistletoe w her.) They were both skinny- you can see Winter's ribs.
She began to heal and her hair started growing back. She was also becoming more outgoing and we saw how incredibly sweet she was.
Since it was January, she had a lot of warm sweaters to wear.
She was adopted into an awesome home. She is loved by human sisters and her mom and dad. She goes everywhere with them. To the beach, to New England-- if they go, she goes.
And she is snuggled close a lot! Her "after" life is more than she could have ever dreamed of.
Her hair has grown back thick and healthy.
I know she loves all her adventures.
Winter "Winnie" and her brother Todd have become great friends. I'm so happy they adopted her! 💜💜
