GWENNIE AND FOOD

Gwennie has become part of the gang here. I think she enjoys having other dogs around.
She’s so silly- rolling around and upside down.  She stops and grins at me. I see that look in her eyes.
When she came, it was hard to get her to eat. She liked it on a plate.  And sometimes, she wanted it in my hand to eat.
Morning and coffee time usually has Cinnamon and Piper.  Dickens joins us sometime.  And now, guess who else is up there. Cinnamon are about the same size.
She tries to stay awake, but it can be tough to do after eating. .
I told you that she likes Cheerios.  So I add those to her plate, w chicken and ground up kibble.
Yesterday, I held her as she ate.  My daughter messaged me. “Are you feeding her on a Royal Dalton plate?!”  Yep.  Many of us who are older have our china, a mother in laws china and for me, I also have my mom’s China. They have rarely been used.  I began using it all as everyday dishes.  Better than just sitting on display!
Last night, she changed her mind again.  She would not eat her specially prepared meal. I tried. She refused what was the best meal the other day.
She decided she wanted Cheerios and dry prescription food. WOW!  She’s on a special food now because of her tummy issues. And today was the first time she would eat only that.  Of course all mine love Cheerios.). She still wanted to eat out of my hand.  And I’ll do that if it means she will eat.
We all went outside after their dinner.

She went for a snooze under the school desk. A little hidey hole.
She was ready to sleep when I rudely woke her up to go upstairs to sleep.  She curled up beside me. Time for sweet dreams. 😴
