TINSEL-ESCAPER

Look at this little face.  Tinsel is a beauty.
She is really precious.  But she showed me her adventurous side last night.
She is a little one.  I think she’s on her way to ten pounds.
She can jump on a chair, she loves snuggle and she loves to play.
Last night, they were confined to the laundry room and family room.  Seriously she said?  Somehow she got through the gate, made it up the stairs and barked outside our bedroom door.  I let her in.  I was tired so I put her on the bed and we all went back to sleep.  Matt woke up and said “Cinnamon is between our pillows,”. Nope, that would be Tinsel. 🤣
When Matt came down this morning, he found Dickens trying to break out.  I had the crib side bungy-corded to the gate to prevent escapers.  Didn’t work. 🤦‍♀️
I’m downstairs and all are content.
Eight are on the couch w me and Callie Hound is in her chair.  Dickens is snoring on my lap.
They all have sweaters on because it’s cold!  Looks like we might get snow today.  I hope it waits a bit since I’m taking 3 to the ophthalmologist this afternoon.  For now, it’s coffee and Pekes (and wanna-be Pekes, Callie, Piper and Hunter.) It’s life here. ❤️❄️

BELLE AND OLIVER

Belle and Oliver were the last two dogs to come in from the Christmas 2024 Rescue.
Oliver and Belle were in a temporary foster home in Maryland.
They moved to a new foster home last weeks.
They are where Leia  “LiLi” lives now.
LiLi was one of the Maryland 5.
LiLi welcomed them.  They are such happy dogs and now they have lots of friends to play with.
Their new foster mom weighed them.  (I have a scale here too.  It’s helps to monitor my dogs’ weights.)
Oliver is 11.4 pounds.
Belle is 8.8 pounds.  Small and sweet little ones.
And guess what?!  Their foster parents have already decided they want to adopt them. I’m thrilled!!they are home for good. ❤️❤️

TINSEL AND NICHOLAS

Tinsel and Nicholas decided to look out the window. When they saw me they turned around and posed.
They are both so handsome!  You may think I posted the same picture twice. Can you see the difference? Maybe I just couldn’t choose between them so I used them both. 🥰. Happy Sunday from Camp Runamuck.

A TIRED DAY

Yesterday was a “tired” day. Lot to do w lots of dogs.  Cinnamon concurs. She can barely keep her eyes open.
Some of the pups were crashed on the couch.
Jolly is at another foster home, so the “tired” must be everywhere.
Nicholas couldn’t make it to the couch so he flopped on a bed by the fireplace.  Or maybe it was because the couch was full. 😜💤

SNICKERDOODLE AND JELLYBEAN

Snickerdoodle (brown) and Jellybean were two more of the Christmas 2024 Rescue. They are the only ones who don’t have a holiday name.   We were having fun naming them.
Their foster mom said they are both so sweet.
They like to help w the laundry. This group has a lot of agility to get on things. I think they had to in order to get around the house they were in.
They are happy and sweet girls.
They love to cuddle.
They have begun medical and so far all is good.
The girls would love to stay together when they are adopted. 💕💕

IT’S CROWDED

Paddington has officially declared me crazy.

His entire life here has been one foster after another.  Usually 1 at a time.
But this time I brought a crowd in.
They’ve taken over Piper and Paddington’s ottoman. Tragedy!
But then, one tried to get in the bed w Paddington.  ðŸ˜³
And then another.  I knew what was coming so I quickly grabbed Paddington.  He was very content in my lap.
The two left didn’t mind.  More room for them.

Another came!
Pretty soon the whole gang was in Paddington’s bed.  I told him some were leaving this week-end. That made him feel better. 😉

BUSY DAY

It’s been BUSY at my house. Lots of surgeries, eye appointments, meds, and care.
Some will go to their other foster homes this weekend.
I have no dog appointments today!!  Yay!
And if you need a shredder, Hunter is your guy.  He’s a great work helper.   All will be ready for forever homes once their medical is done. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
