BUDDY AND DUSTY GO ON VACATION

Buddy came into rescue almost a year ago.  He was a young Peke in a shelter in Maryland.
 He needed a foster home.
Tiny Dusty's mom offered to help.
Dusty wasn't too sure about him at first, but soon, they became friends.
Buddy is a lot bigger than Dusty.   And Buddy isn't that big.   His foster mom decided to adopt him. (Our foster parents have first option on adoption.)
They went on vacation to Florida.
They were so good in the car, sleeping most of the way.
They had their beds and seat belts on.
They had a great time-- floating in the pool and...
...going to the beach.   They went out on the dock and looked at the water.
 Buddy thought it was wonderful!
I think we all will need a vacation like this in a few months when the cold and snow comes.  In the meantime, we can enjoy Buddy and Dusty's vacation through their pictures.   Thank you for sharing!!

HELLO PUCCINI

Puccini came into rescue in January.
I did a home check near me (I love those) and he found his forever home.
He loves his new mom!   And she loves him right back.
Puccini is such a sweet boy, even with his snaggle grin.
 He plays hard though!
So, a lot of pictures show him totally out.
He has to rest up for the next play session.
The couch will do for a quick nap, but so will the floor.
 A comfy chair works, too.
Here he made a fort and laid down on the TV remote.   No TV for anyone else! LOL
I'm looking for a friend for Puccini because he would really like a playmate.   We will find you one!

NALA'S ADVENTURE

I have this ram (Plow and Hearth on sale) in the fireplace during the summer.
But, now that we have turned on our gas logs, we had to move it.  (Minnie has a nice soft warm spot near by.)
Nala wanted to know why there was a new Peke in the room.  LOL
She saw Sugar Bit, with her crackers, go to it.
What was going on?  Was Sugar Bit putting something inside it?  WOW, magic!
So, Nala slowly walked over to it-- this might be a trick, or maybe there's a treat!
 She could smell something.
Wait, there's a trap door!  She used her nose to open it.
And there was a treat inside.
 Yum, crackers!
Nala is so smart!!   She decided to check again.
She stuck her head further in.
 Yum Yum Yum.
Kai Kai heard the commotion, so he sniffed his way over.  He couldn't find anything, so...
He told Nala to come back.
She practically climbed into the little door!
 Don't get stuck!
 Did you find something?
She did!   No tricks, just treats.  I mean crackers.  She does love crackers!!  💗👛

KOKO ADOPTED!

Koko came into rescue in May, with his family of Pekes.  Andy was adopted by his foster parents.
Koko is 13-14 and the sweetest boy.
He had a little mohawk when his hair was cut when he came into rescue.  Adorable!!
He loved his foster home, and they loved him, but fostering means letting go sometimes.
We received an application for him-- a home where he would be loved and cared for.
He went to meet them on  Sunday.  He looked around...
And he made them laugh when they put a hat on him (with bunny ears).
His new mom has had Pekes most of her life, and she wanted an older one to love.
Now they have Koko, their sweet boy to love and take care of the rest of his life.
Have a wonderful  life Koko!!  ❤️
