PHOTOS FOR CALENDAR

We've made PVPC calendars for years.  And it's time to submit photos for the 2026 calendar.  2026!  Wow.   Mistletoe is posing.  (See end to see where to send pictures that we can consider for the 2026 calendar.  

We will definitely have pictures of the Christmas rescue group-- Jack wants to be in the calendar.  I agree with him!

Winter is adorable.   This is earlier and she looks so much better now.  

This year's calendar has wonderful pictures in it.  Zeke the Peke- one of my fosters (PVPC alumni) was one of them.

I look at the pictures of former fosters and remember their stories.  Some still have a part of  my heart.

Brock was one of the WV6.

Fresia and Scout are both PVPC alumni.  I love seeing them.

Tolstoy "Toasty" was one of the Maryland 5.  And he's my granddog.

And Cinnamon-- everyone loves Cinnamon.  But she couldn't be adopted due to trauma, and she only trusts me. No one else.  So, now she's my girl the rest of her life.

DALLAS AND LEX 🐰

Dallas and Lex came to us in the autumn of 2022. Their owner passed away.  

They had been together all their lives—littermates. So we wanted to keep them together. 

They were adopted together in early 2023.  I just received Easter pictures.  Lex was so happy. A treat must be coming. 

Dallas agreed. (Do I have them right Amy?)

Look at the smiles. They are well loved Pekes. 

I’m so happy they found a home together!  🥰
 

GRACEY AND PIPER

Gracey and Piper celebrated Easter in style. 

They had Easter baskets and treats. Their parents always celebrate their birthdays and holidays.  I love that. 

Little Emmi had treats too.  She was adopted last year and has some health issues, so I’m sure she had extra treats. 

I see a toy in there too. 

Piper sneaks in for a peek.  He was my foster many years ago❤️.

They had a wonderful Easter. 

Now it’s time to relax. 🐰🐰
 

EASTER AND BUNNIES

There were so many cute pictures posted yesterday.  I had to share some.  This is Ren (PVPC alumni), Noelle (PVPC foster) and Mei Mei (PVPC alumni). I love their Easter outfits. 

This is Charlie.  He was one of my fosters. (He was Marshmallow then. He has the best home.)  

Henry is a foster w The Gingerbread House.  They are a rescue I watch on Facebook.  They are in NJ and help dogs on the east coast. 

Spaulding is another one of their fosters.  Look at that face. I think there was a run on pink bunny ears. 🐇

Look at Hunter!   He and Jingle were fosters w me. And they were adopted together. 

Their mom sent me these adorable pictures.  

Some of you posted your Bunny-Pekes on our Facebook.  I love that you share. 

And here are two of my favorites.  Snuffles and Schmoo have a dad who takes awesome pictures and I love to share them.  I hope your Easter was wonderful!

Winter came to visit.  She remembered me (she had stayed a week w me) and she curled right up on my lap like a baby. 

Everyone was so excited to see her— even Paddington. 

Winter must have know Easter was coming. Did she think these were very large eggs? 

These are eggs Winter. 

Mistletoe relaxed too.  She remembered being at Susan’s home.

KRIS AKA EDDIE

Kris was one of the Christmas Pekes.  Brock on the right was one of the West Virginia Pekes. Lisa has fostered many of our foster dogs and sometimes she just has to keep one or two.  I’m not sure what Eddie is fussing about- or maybe it’s a big yawn. 

They are both very content there and all play w each other.   I think they are planning a happy Easter. 🐣I hope you are, too. 
 

MISTLETOE—BOSSY GIRL

Mistletoe is such a sweet girl. This is her rocking chair.  It was mine but she likes it more. 😜 

You all know my Callie Hound.  Sweet and gentle old girl.  

Mistletoe gets along with all the dogs, but she is sure bossy with Callie.   

Looks at her bossy face.  LOL  Callie is ignoring her. 

Cinnamon got on the coffee table to observe.  "What's going on there?"

Callie is very patient, but she will let Mistletoe know when she's had enough.  It's just a bark, no contact involved. Does Mistletoe listen?  Not really.  

Maybe Mistletoe caught on.   She got back into "her" chair.”  What a girl! 😁
