BUSY RESCUE DAYS

My dogs have been suspicious.
Mom has that look in her eyes.  Something is about to happen.

Olivia says she's fine with whatever.  She goes to her new home soon.
Wow, there's another one!  Olivia greets him.   (The belly band on Olivia is to protect her spay incision.   Even if the e-collar protect from licking the stitches, dogs' back feet can really do a number on the stitches.)
We have rescued four dogs from the same shelter this past month.  None of them are Pekes.  It's a detour from the norm for us.  But Pekes seem to be hiding, so we're helping others.  Barnabas is one of them.
He stayed with me just long enough to get his labs done and a microchip put in.   He will be neutered at his foster mom's house in Richmond.
I met Lisa in Williamsburg to give her Barnabas.  (Paddington was so mad that another male was here.) And Birdie Bea came back with me.

We went right to her new home near me.   Her meal was already prepared!  On real plates, with watermelon for dessert.   Her new mom was so excited-- I love to see that!
She met Trigger, and he was excited to have her there.
Then, she took a little rest with her new mom.
Her mom works from home, and both dogs rested while she finished her workday.

Olivia and Paddington were glad when I came back home.   Paddington was relieved that I didn't come back with more.  LOL
Cinnamon asked, "Are more coming?  We need a break!"    Well, we do have another rescue plan about to happen, but Barbara and her husband are in charge of that one.   Time to rest after 5 days of rescue.   Maybe I'll just watch a movie!
