A THANKSGIVING RESCUE

This albino Peke ended up in a shelter because her owner could no longer live on her own.  She was in the same shelter as the Maryland 5.  (The one Toasty was part of.).
We wrote back and forth.  Right now, rescues are having trouble finding foster homes. We are not the only one.  So we can take one if we have a foster to adopt foster home.  I sent the request to the board and one said she would take her.
The rescue person at the shelter took her home for Thanksgiving Day.  Since the shelter would be an 8 hour round trip, we had to figure it out.  (So much goes on before we even get the dog.). The rescue person messaged and said her son was going home Thanksgiving evening. And he lives an hour away from the foster home. Wow!
Last night,  at 7:00 in the evening, we took her into rescue.  Another holiday rescue.  Welcome to your forever!
