REINDEER AND NEW YEAR PEKES?

Dogs sure put up with a lot in our house.   Not only do they have to put up with 'grandbit' noise, but sometimes I put funny things on them just to get a picture.   Sweetie Pi just looked at me when I put the reindeer antlers on.    She's my granddog.
Of course, we had to try a New Year hat on Max and the rest.
Kai Kai just can't believe I do these things to him.    He's my boy and puts up with a lot.
Starlight-- yes, she tolerates it for a nano-second and then....it's off!
Scooter, you have the longest tongue!   Are you trying to knock off your hat?
If he closes his eyes, ha can pretend I"m not humiliating him.
Max decided enough was enough!
Kai Kai tried to run for it-- he didn't want to be a reindeer!
Run, Kai Kai, Run!   Or you'll look like me!
I love this picture of my Scooterbug.    He has the prettiest coloring and is the sweetest boy.   He's over 12 now, not in great health, but still as happy as he can be.
Come on, Starlight, let me put this on you.
If you are still, I can take a picture faster.
And that's as close as we got.  She was NOT up to being a reindeer!

STARLIGHT-- GET READY FOR CUTE!

Starlight decided I put the Christmas pillows on the couch just for her.   Max was there, too.
But, Starlight claimed all the pillows!
Yes, we're looking at you and I'm taking your picture.
I guess she decided she didn't like that, so she climbed onto the shelf of the coffee table.  (After I lifted her down-- she will wait for her staff to take her off the couch-- that's me!)   Magazines went everywhere.  I know better than to put things there -- that shelf is her personal "hidey hole" and she'll just push things out of her way.   I moved the magazines!   Can't take her napping spot away.

CHRISTMAS AT CAMP RUNAMUCK

Christmas at Camp Runamuck was in full swing.    Kai Kai and Max could see it coming.
"What do you mean, we're going to have a week of chaos?"
 Beach Bit was ready!
Cowboy Bit (our newest bit) was ready!
Furniture gets moved all over to accommodate the Bits-- a Christmas show was on TV.
 Beesey Bit was all smiles!
 So was Drill Bit!
Lottie, my granddog, is almost 14--but she watched the chaos until it was time for a nap.
Starlight tried to stay out of the way-- hiding under the kitchen table became a safety zone.
Sweetie Pi claimed the big dog bed.  Unless Lottie was in it.
Kai Kai was in shell shock from the noise that little boy Bits can make!
Bitty Bit had a serious moment-- but not for long!
Lil Bit was enjoying the Grinch Who Stole Christmas.
Coyboy Bit was discovering all the push toys here.
You are cute!  (He is my niece's son.)
"Can I look over your head?"
Bitty Bit on the scooter was too funny.
Kai Kai kept looking for places the Bits couldn't get to him.
But, they were interested in the shows.
Max and Kai Kai were happy on the couch-- the Bits didn't want it.
Little trays were good for playing-- this one lasted about 5 hours before someone sat on it-- gone!
 Bitty Bit and ....
Lil Bit were doing math books-- they loved it!
Starlight sought refuge from my son in law-- it only took her six years to decide he was okay and now she loves him!
Lil Bit and Poppy were hamming it up.
The Bit boys had new airplanes-- but the toys that made noise were a bigger hit!
Here's one of my presents-- so true!  With multiple dogs, why can't they all go out at once??
 Are you tired Kai Kai?
Oh, no, Sweetie Pi got the small bed this time......
and Lottie claimed the big one.
Kai Kai hid out in the playroom (which used to be my formal living room).    The Bits found him there.
Cowboy Bit found the Thomas the Train tent-- fun!
Toys were all over the house.
Some became trumpets (not their original use!).
 They became elephants.
And then Christmas was over-- but so much fun!   I did put a Pekingese in the manger scene.  No one noticed except for Beach Bit who promptly told me to move it!   So, of course, I did. :-)   I hope the holidays were wonderful for all of you!    It was magical here.

GRACIE AND HER TOWEL

Gracie says: I found this towel thing that my Mom put at the door to the garage. Well it wasn't 'posed to be there. So I pulled it away so she could pick it up and put it away. So you know what----she put it right back. And every time I pull it away she puts it back. What's wrong with my Mom? I may have to move it to another room. Really getting tired.
Well, I fixed that!   I'm going to lay on it so she can't put it back.   I don't know why she keeps doing that!

HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM ALL OF US!

PIPER AT CHRISTMAS

Piper had his first Christmas in his new home.    He had his very own ornament and stocking-- and the stocking was full of toys!
He received a special bed with a little cave area that he can climb into.   Maybe he hides from his little Peke sister, Abbi in there.
I helped open all the boxes on Christmas morning.
I made sure all the presents were out and then I went to play with all my new things.    I played with Abbi and Sammy's toys, too!
After awhile, I decided I was tired and laid down to take a rest.    Holidays are hard on Pekes and we need a lot of energy and naps to get through them!
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!
