CINNAMON AND HUNTER VISIT THE OPHTHALMOLOGIST

Hunter dressed up as Santa to see the ophthalmologist.  

I thought "maybe it will make him brave."  Nope.   

He's very adventurous at home-- but not out of his safe space.   He's a puppy.  That will improve  

When he's not being the Pesky Puppy, he enjoys one of the dog beds near me.  

I noticed he had some goopy eyes, but I was cleaning them.  The hair around his eyes was sparse.  So, I wanted to make sure all was well.   We are starting him on some drops and I'll message the vet after the New Year to give her an update.  I don't have to go in unless it's not better.

Cinnamon was just there for her yearly checkup.   Her eyes seem healthy.  But her vision in her right eye is almost not there.   Her left eye has a lot of scarring, too.  But, she has enough vision for shapes.  I take a big flashlight out for her when we are outside in the dark.

The ophthalmologist we saw was the same Cinnamon has always seen, but now she's in an old "plantation style home" that was turned into a vet.  

Each room has a special name.  

The front hall is beautiful.   Very relaxing there. 

After the visit, special outfits off (since it's a warm day) and time for a rest.  Their adventure wore them out.
