I’ve been looking back at the pictures of the dogs we’ve rescued and I remember when they came in and how they healed. Peppermint/Pepper came in the same month as Cinnamon. December 2023. Her dad fell in love w her. She has a doggy brother and a tiny human sister is arriving soon.
Berkeley came to us terrified and only 7 1/2 pounds. He gained 2 pounds, a lot for a little one. He found a perfect home and is so happy w everyone who gives him attention. The picture shows a very relaxed boy. 😁
Jack, a Christmas rescue, is so smart. He’s learned a lot from his mom. He’s a happy pup. And he does think all the toys are his. 😉
Hunter and Jingle were adopted together and their mom said they keep her on her toes. The latest adventure is getting over baby gates. Hunter had kangaroo legs and he jumped over everything at my house. Then he went and taught Jingle how to do it. Oh Hunter!
Holly found a perfect home and she loved her family. She loves having a Peke brother and his girl and her parents take her on long walks.
Wicket has a wonderful new life that includes kids, the beach, toys, a best dog friend and long walks. His mom was looking for a friend for her Peke Luna. They now play and have fun together.
Kris/Eddie 🎄 and Brock (from the West Virginia 6) play all the time. Eddie is such a happy boy. Like the rest of the 🎄 rescue, he came a long way. He loves his life now.
Noelle was so scared and timid and thin when she arrived. Her two sisters have taught her to be brave and how to take walks. She loves sharing a snuffle mat w her sisters. Yummy treats are hidden there.
Mistletoe/Missy was w me a long time. We were waiting for her perfect family. And she found it. She has become braver and even ventured in to the “forest” in her yard. She wouldn’t go there at first. Now she is a pro at climbing up her little hill.
Nicholas/Percy and he sister Tinsel/Tulip were afraid of a lot. Walks were scary! They are doing so much better. I love seeing their progress.
Fizziwig/Ludo and Gabriel/Toby were so happy to be adopted together. They have kids who adore them and doggy friends, one from us, Olivia/Callie. Callie loves to play and Ludo and Toby are content to watch.
Jellybean is so happy that she is w her sister ….
Snickerdoodle. They play and romp around and are full of joy. They bring so much joy to their families.
I couldn’t leave Dickens out. He made great progress this year. From not walking to running across the family room. He will have his one year vet appointment and they will be so surprised to see him now!
Jolly refused to leave his foster home. His parents were experienced fosters but Jolly knew he would get his way. He just refused to interact w anyone who came to see him. Even when I went to visit him, he was not interested in me. And he was MY foster for awhile. He was serious about staying where he was. And it worked.
His brother can be a grumpy old man, but Jolly was determined for for TD to accept him.
😍So many have new lives because people were willing to love and foster. I’m grateful to each one of you.
