Noelle, Nono, went on a hike with her friends and their mom and dad. They went on the Dismal Swamp Trail in Virginia. I don't think the girls did much hiking. Being in their big stroller was much more fun.
Nono was in the first group that came two days before Christmas 2024. She was in rough shape. She had extensive bald patches, infected skin, nearly blind, critically malnourished, often dazed, and terrified of absolutely everything. She was only 9 pounds. Her mom posted this. "She had excellent veterinary care, and healthy food, and she is now our Nono. She now is weighing in at 11.8 pounds. She had seen the ophthalmologist and now has improved vision. She has thick fur, a fluffy tail, playful energy, and boundless joy. Happy Gotcha Day, Nono!"
Her mom dresses all of them up in matching outfits for every holiday.
Ren, Nono and Mei Mei look so cute when they are all together in their special clothes.
Nono and her friends have a wonderful back yard to walk around. They are beautiful flowers and paths and it's a nice place to be. I've been there and it's beautiful.
Nono is still timid with strangers, and she is a real Daddy's girl. She can get energy spurts and race around the house, jumping on and off the furniture. It's adorable!
She has toys and anything else she wants.

Linda..... we have raging bushfires , houses burnt and they are still going on up in the country. I live in the suburbs but we can get grass fires if living near a park.
Today it hit 42c or 107f . Its a little cooler at nearly 6 in the evening 39c or 100f ... I do hope a cool change comes soon and it rains where the fires are.
