WHAT COLOR?

Do you have a favorite Peke color?   I’ve fostered every color there is. These are pekes from long ago. It’s Lottie, Bailey and Cranberry.  They were ready for leprechauns to appear. 

Hunter isn’t a Peke but I’ve fostered black and white Pekes. Jingle (and his fellow brothers and sisters who came in w him)  were either shades of brown or an off white like Jingle. 

Daisy is a light buff. And her coat is thick.  Pekes can have long hair, short hair, straight and even some curls. (Paddington has an area on his back that is curly.  The rest of his hair is straight. Anyone else’s Pekes have curls? 

Fresia also has some light buff in her coat. She is mostly off white. 

My precious senior boys from several years ago, Max and Kai Kai.  Max had a lot of brown and a lot of gray when he was almost 17. 

Kai Kai (before he lost both eyes) was a stunning shade of deep red. He also had black tips on the hair.  He was so beautiful.  I’ve never seen another Peke like him.  He was one of my heart dogs. ❤️

Cranberry Muffin was off white  w some light brown highlights on her ears. She was a Peke w an opinion.  She would ignore any new foster who came.  She would sit on the stairs and look down w distain. 😂. Then she realized that everyone but her was having fun. So she joined them.  Silly girl. 

Toasty is an albino.  Some people might call him leucistic but leucistic Pekes can have brown eyes. Albinos cannot. Everyone knows Tuk Tuk. He is all black except for some white on his legs.  Try finding him at night!  Lol 

My Sissy was mostly black until gray began around her face. Many love black Pekes the most.  They are beautiful. 

Lexie was a tri-color.  Brown, black and white. She was a beautiful little girl. (My first IMHA dog.)

Starlight (w my granddaughter) was a parti color.  She was mostly white w breaks of light brown.  She was little, fluffy and one of PVPC’s favorite Pekes.  

And Paddington. The Pad. Bad Pad.  He and Cinnamon are reds. Cinnamon is darker but sometimes when they lay together, it’s hard to tell where one stops and the other begins.  What is your favorite color Peke?   For me, ALL of them. 🥰
