FAREWELL HOMER

Homer came into rescue in 2011.   He was rescued by a good person who did not want him to go to a shelter.
Paige fostered him and realized he was in a lot of back pain.
He had back surgery and his life became so much better.
After his recovery, he continued to stay at Paige's home and they realized he needed to stay there.
Homer was 13 and had been in congestive heart failure for several years.  He could no longer breathe well and was struggling.  Yesterday, it was time to say good-bye to this sweet boy.
Breathe free now, Homer.  Run free with your friends.  Your doggy friends and Paige and Dani will miss you so much.

Another loss. Sad to see these babies go on but up-lifted by the love and devotion they received after rescue.

What a beauty Homer was and I am so sad for his family - he will be missed.
