A friend posted this picture celebrating the Chinese New Year.
Maddy, his Peke, is learning all about it. His ball is close, of course, as he listens.
The Sisters, have Chinese names. Xiao Mei Mei Lijin D. G. (Daddy's Girl) was Pepper (she has a little white line up her forehead. Xiao means "little" and Mei Mei means "little sister." Lijin translates kind of to "golden child." And she is the golden child to her Daddy. 💜

and Blackie is now Shan Ren or just Ren. The Sisters were so lucky to be adopted together and have a home with love forever.
Yes, they are a happy family.
Wu's name is a little Chinese. :-)
Buffy's name isn't Chinese-- but she a little sweet girl.
China Doll is her name-- she is a China Peke and so sweet.
It's the Year of the Rat. Not my favorite animal. But...

but I always have Pekingese with double names... and , if you saw Yum Yum as a puppy ... OMG he was Yummy!!! LOL
I have had Lulu , Moi Moi (little sister ) , CoCo and now Yum Yum .

Its been a somewhat quiet Chinese New Year here in Melbourne, Australia as the Coronavirus has been in the news and all the Chinese people are staying home.
We have 5 with it in Australia and I believe you in the US have 5 too.
Those masks are selling out really fast and if you have been to China and you are going to School this week... stay home for 2 weeks. Its that serious here.
It has been a rough time for Australia and please do stay safe now with the newest hit on our world.
Praying that this new virus is quickly stopped.
