FAREWELL CHARLES DICKENS

Charles Dickens was found in rural Virginia in December of 2015.
He was definitely part Peke- and probably part Pom.
We asked Pom Rescue if they could help, so once he had his medical, we transferred him to them.   I love how rescues can work together to help needy animals.
Once he arrived in his foster home, he was there to stay!   He was so sweet, they couldn't let him go.
 He was a loving boy.
He was so easy to get along with.
Charles celebrated holidays with his family.
He was a patriotic boy. :-)
He was an older one, and his body began to just not work anymore.  It's so hard to know when it's time, but Charles Dickens let his mom know he was ready.
Bonnie, thank you for giving him such a loving home.   I know you will miss him.  Run free now, sweet boy.

Condolences to Bonnie and her family for Charles Dickens. We have a Peke/Pom and he's such a wicked and funny boy that we laugh often with his antics.

Love these rescued babies whose stories often have big holes in the life story but fill our hearts with such love.
