To the vet!
Cinnamon had her yearly appointment yesterday. Hunter went along. He is afraid of everyone but me so I’m trying to give him opportunities to meet others. They were both nervous, especially Cinnamon. Her heart murmur is a 3 now but no meds are needed. She’s 12 pound so she’s a little over weight. I’ll reduce her portions a tiny bit. Over time, that can make a huge difference. Being too heavy can lead to health issues. They are only eating what we give them, so we have to discipline ourselves. (Mine don’t get snacks—occasional chopped carrots and a few goldfish crackers when they hear Matt open the jar. π€£)I knew Cinnamon had a very jagged tongue end, but we noticed she also has a scar from the left side of her tongue up the the front. If only she could tell me her story. They were both exhausted when we came home.
Hunter did play w the look-alike cow- they are both black and white. π€£Callie, Hunter and Cinnamon took naps on the couch. The fireplace was going, soft Christmas music was playing, the Christmas lights were on. I sat too, just taking a few moments.
Hunter decided my lap was better, so he curled up there. Too tired to play. He just wanted to rest safely on my lap. It was a good day. π
