ANGEL—GOOD NEWS

Angel came into rescue Saturday.  We are waiting on results from her vet appointment.
I called the ophthalmologist Monday morning, and they fit her in.
She was all dressed up for her appointment with the specialist.  You can see her fluffy tail.  She has a pretty coat and tail.
She is a sweet girl.  One eye is larger than the other and we weren't sure she had any sight.
Dr. Gift examined her.  He said he thought she had some sight in her larger eye.  That is GREAT news!
Her right eye is smaller, but I thought that was her good eye.  It wasn't.   It is actually getting smaller in size and has no vision.   There's no need to remove it.  That eye will be treated for dry eye to keep it healthy.
She will be on an eye cleaner, plus two eye drops twice a day.  She also will have eye gel after the other meds to coat the eyes.   She was so good for everything.  The tech thought she was so cute that she asked if she could show her off in the back.  Angel was a little star yesterday! ⭐
She was all ready to go back to her foster home-- which will be her permanent home, too.   I'll have more updates on her soon.  💜

Angel seems a good girl at having her eyes done , which makes it easier for her in the long run.
