BERKELEY—ADOPTED!

Berkeley came into rescue in December.   He was in a shelter, and he wasn't doing well there.  

He was a tiny one at 7.5 pounds.   Super little.  He gained weight and was 9-10 pounds after time in rescue.  

He enjoyed getting out of the shelter.  Look at that smile. 

Most people on our page and web site are looking for Pekes.  Berkeley wasn't a Peke. 

We had interest in him, but Berkeley wanted to be an only dog and have all the attention.  Some dogs don't want to share.  That was okay.  We weren't in a hurry to find him a home.  We would wait for the right one. 

Well, the right one came.  And Berkeley was adopted yesterday.  

His new mom had a collection of toys, harnesses, and leashes.  He will have quite a collection.  

His new mom messaged us after they arrived home.  Berkeley is doing well and his mom adores him!  It's what we wanted for him.  We're so happy for him.
