SATURDAY AT RUNAMUCK

We spend time at our new house as we continue to make our home there. The dogs have been confused.  Paddington is used to being carried upstairs at night. Our bedroom is now on the first floor. But Paddington goes to the steps to the room over the garage.  He’ll get used to the new location
I set this small crate out and Gwennie loves to go in there.  She still keeps an eye on me. 😂

The yard isn’t fenced here so we have xpens stretched out until we decide what kind of boundaries we want there. The dogs have always had a big yard but as we move here permanently, they’ll have more space to wander.  I’d take them on walks, but several have bad legs and some have lack of stamina. They are 10-11 so wandering is their style.   Gwennie has gone on a walk on the trail behind us.  We end up carrying her.  She’s not spoiled.
This is the routine. Let them out. Let them in. Let them out. Let them in.   And on…
After being outside they go in groups to the water bowl.  There are 2 bowls there and no one fusses.

If you enlarge this, you can see the fence.
We are seeing spring arrive, the trees are all filling out.  We have a lot of afternoon shade.
The end of the day is time to take over one side of the bed.  Always my husbands side!!  They do move for him.
Cinnamon and her boy Paddington are ready to snooze. 💤💤
