Need a Name!

WELL, I JUST RECEIVED NEWS THAT THIS LITTLE GUY WAS ALLOWED TO GO BACK TO HIS OWNERS. I HOPE HE IS OKAY AND THAT HE WILL BE TAKEN CARE OF. HE SEEMED VERY HAPPY, SO HOPEFULLY THEY WILL TAKE CARE OF HIM. THE SHELTER KNOWS TO CONTACT ME IF HE COMES BACK. JUST PRAY FOR THIS LITTLE ONE!

I went to animal control today to check on the dog I had on yesterday. Thank you for the responses to the need for a foster mom for the Peke in animal control. He is so sweet. Okay, okay, he may have a little something mixed in, but those sad eyes just pleaded with me to help him.
Look at the beautiful coloring on his back.
Here he is with Cathy, or "Little Cathy." I'm 5'1" tall and she makes me feel TALL!! :-) She is incredible with the dogs there-- and what a difference she has made in this shelter since she got there! There are doggy play yards, wading pools for the bigger dogs to play in, big fenced areas for them to run and play. The shelter is incredibly clean and the dogs are happy there. As happy as they can be in a shelter-- but this one is great.
He decided to play with some of the toys in the play yard. I threw a ball and he went to get it. Okay, that's all he did-- he didn't bring it back to me.
He didn't seem aggressive at all! He is probably not even two years old-- very puppy like.
"Look at me jump!" And look at that grin.
He loves to play-- and kept coming to me to be petted.
We will hopefully get him on Thursday, after he's neutered by the shelter vet. It's right on the premises-- so the dogs are well cared for.

I need a name for him-- so far here are some suggestions. Scrappy (He does look a bit scrappy now! But, he'll soon be beautiful.), Tuggles/Tug, Sesame. What do you think of those? Let me know your suggestions too!

Linda , you know I named my peke after one of the dogs my lovely groomer has - she brought all her 4 dogs to Australia from Hong Kong and it cost $$$ as we have quarentine and that costs alot - anyway she has a white peke - his name is Peking Chai . So - may I suggest Peking Chai a much loved HK/Aussie peke!
* He does look a lovely boy hope he finds a great home soon .

I love all the name suggestions-- his foster mom is looking at all of them and will decide when she picks him up at the vet. My daughter will get him from the shelter for me and take him to be fully checked out at my vet and have some tests done (bloodwork, etc.). Whatever we name him, he is a sweetheart!
