This little girl was saved from a puppy mill. Look at that smile!
We took in ten dogs in August, 2009. She was named Joy because of her personality. Even though she had been through so much, she still has a joyful spirit.
She rode in her car seat to the vet with her colorful harness. She was set to charm the staff.
She was missing an eye and some teeth, but she didn't care. She just wanted to be loved.
She was adopted by Florence after a first meeting proved to be love at first sight for Joy and her new mom. She lives with other doggy friends in Maryland. Joy is always wagging her tail and she steals the heart of everyone she meets. Hearing how happy she is gives all of us joy, too!
