Maddy was adopted in May. Today is his dad's birthday!! Happy Birthday, Dennis!!! Maddy loves his new home. But, when that big storm went through, his home lost power-- for awhile!
His mom and dad knew this little Peke couldn't handle the heat, so they went to family in New Jersey to wait it out. Maddy kept calling his home to see if the answering machine came on-- that would show if the power was on or not. I think that is very clever!
Maddy didn't mind where he was--it had a nice cool floor to stretch out on.
And plenty of beds and fans. But, he was glad to go home after almost a week away. I bet his parents were, too!

So glad to hear he is so loved.
Don't forget it was the 4th of July and he brought his "hot dog" toy to celebrate (check out his bed!)
I just found this site. Oh. Maddy is so cute. My little peke Taffy (I had her from 1980 - 1995) had a hot dog toy just like that! She loved to run around with it and then stop and squeeze it to make it squeak.
