I'm thinking of taking a few days of rest-- if you have been someone in the Virginia area that would be a good place to rest, let me know. I like small towns, mountain areas (I live near the beach, but beach options are okay, too). Let me know if you have some ideas. :-)

Hi Linda: A few years back, Jim and I stayed at a bed and breakfast in Charlottesville. Beautiful, quiet, and serene. There are touristy things to do or just sit back and smell the wonderful mountain breezes.
Linda - A few years ago, Jim and I stayed at a beautiful bed and breakfast in Charlottesvile, VA called The Inn at Sugar Hollow Farm. Very peaceful and serene but there are touristy things to do around if you want to or just lay back and enjoy the mountain air ....

We're going to Luray, Va. next week on a motorcycle trip. It's really beautiful there--lots of mountain scenery.
