CARNIVAL FOR WATER/JULY 21 (this Saturday)

This doesn't have anything to do with Pekingese. It has to do with helping people who don't have water. I don't usually post things beyond the Pekingese range, but today I am. Have you ever had a glass of water and realized how lucky you are to have it? Clean, fresh water. My granddaughter "Lil Bit" and a few of her friends (who are going into fourth grade) want to raise money for a lifetime of water for people who don't have access to clean water. They are having a carnival just for this purpose. They are doing this through has a heart for others. She donated 14 inches of her long blond hair to help make wigs for people with cancer. She loves animals (lives on a farm) and has helped me with many of my foster Pekingese. She loves her family-- here she is with Drill Bit.Now she wants to show her love for those who need water. If you can come to the carnival, it is at Legacy Horse Training 2452 Poindexter Rd, Louisa, Virginia 23093 View Map · Get Directions There will be Pony Rides, Petting Zoo, Barrel Train, Games, Food, FUN!!! Legacy Horse Training will give a demonstration with their mustangs at around 1:00 on Saturday--come see some of the methods they use to gentle these incredible wild horses! You will have a chance to meet (and get a photo with) some of the mustangs before and after! It is this Saturday from 10 until 4. If you can't come, but want to help, you can make a donation: CauseLife PO Box 591 Forest, VA 24551. Make the check payable to CauseLife and please put "change for change well" into the memo (if you don't put that in the memo, it will still go towards
a well, but they won't know to count it under the girls' fundraising
efforts) I hope to see some of you there!
