Louie, the blind puppy we got last year, is having a wonderful summer.
I think he has taken up gardening. I'm sure he is a great helper.

His buddy, J. Edgar Hoover, is content to watch from the porch.
J. Edgar Hoover and Saffron Monsoon (I love these names!) are great friends for Louie. They help him maneuver around the yard and on walks.
He (and other blind dogs) do amazingly well-- their other senses take over and they can live life in joy and love. Don't hesitate to adopt a handicapped pet-- they can fill your life with love!

Yes they can. I will from now on always adopt a senior or special needs pet because they are so wonderful and sweet! I just love Louie :-)
