FAREWELL GUCCI

Gucci (formerly Gonzo) came to us in 2012 from a NC rural shelter.
It was a wonderful shelter, but small and they needed help with this sweet boy.
He was between 2 and 4 years old, so a young one.
He needed a lot of help --surgeries on his nose, eyes, an ear infection, and neutering.
After he healed, he was adopted to a wonderful home in Maryland.  Lisa had adopted Jersey from us the year before, and Jersey and Gucci became good friends.
His mom said he could give her a look that said, "Don't bother me."  We all know that look.
Earlier this month, she found out that he had cancer throughout his body and would only live a short time.
He died soon after that, and his brother and mom are lost without him.
Our rescue knows how hard it is to lose a best friend.  We are so sorry.  Run free now, sweet one.
