CINNAMON SEES THE EYE DOCTOR

Cinnamon loves her side kick Paddington.  He’s very good w her. If she goes somewhere w me, he has to check her out when we get home.
We saw the ophthalmologist on Friday, but she wanted us to see the other ophthalmologist.  Cinnamon had an opinion about that. 🤣. We have wonderful specialists in our area.  The one we saw Monday is one of the top 6 in the country.
He can do surgeries that others can’t do.  People fly their pets in from all over the country to see him.  (Someone was there from Puerto Rico on one visit.  We were so blessed that he saw Cinnamon. 🥰.  He has helped a lot of our fosters dogs.
Cinnamon was nervous but she did really well.  He checked her eyes, performed several tests.  He checked the pupil, lens, and retinas.  Because of the condition of her eyes, and the high amount of scarring, she is a high risk eye patient.  She could end up w glaucoma or total blindness.  She has a little bit of sight so we don’t want to risk surgery.  We did get drops to try to expand her vision field.  We’ll try it for a month and call him.

Paddington and Piper met her at the door.  And then it was playtime!
She decided to play w this extra large bear.  It was bigger than she was.
It was a busy day.  Playing helps her relax.  Me too. 😃
