NIPPY,LUNA AND MONK—SENIOR DOGS❤️❤️❤️

Nippy, Luna, and Monk were lounging on the couch.
Monk and Nippy came into rescue in May 2011.
They were littermates.  Their owner said they were 3 years old.   The owner wanted to turn them into rescue.

Luna (on the floor) came into rescue in 2019.  She was paralyzed and needed help.  (With great medical and foster mom help, she was able to walk and her foster mom adopted her into the family.)

Nippy is slowing down.   He and Monk are going on 16.

Monk is showing that he’s older, too.  His underbite is awesome! ❤️
They both sleep a lot. Both have hearing and vision issues.
His mom said” Nippy has a large tumor on his liver.  It presses on his large blood vessel to the heart and brain and slows the blood flow.  I thought he might have dementia but at least now there is a diagnosis.”
Luna is resting w Nippy.  They are all in a wonderful home where love and care is abundant.    Having older dogs is a gift— we get to love on them and help them know they are special.  I love the seniors.  Nippy’s mom does, too. 💙🩷💙
