Louie came into rescue last summer as a puppy whose eyes had to be removed because he had been hit by a car. He was quickly adopted and now lives a wonderful life in Minnesota! We don't usually go that far for adoptions, but this was a wonderful home for a special boy. He's on vacation now in North Dakota! I hope his mom adds more pictures. I've never been there and want to see more.

Every adventure is a blast! His mom has a sense of humor, too. She decided to give him eyes in this photo. Louie doesn't have eyes, but he has a huge heart, a wonderful home, lots of love, and a beautiful life ahead of him. We love adopters like her!

Louie sounds like he has a life of luxury and adventures, and maybe just a bit spoiled rotten. Louie will probably be on Mt. Rushmore next!
I just LOVE Louie! I enjoy reading heartwarming success stories like that. You need to hear the good along with the bad to keep things in perspective. I'm so glad Louie has a wonderful life now and that makes it all worth while...you do a wonderful job helping Pekes and making their lives joyful. Bless you for all you do!
