Must Love Pekes is a blog for those who love Pekingese -- their looks, their antics, their personalities. It is written by me, Linda, and I have been rescuing Pekingese for over 20 years. Lots of them have come through our home. We have loved them all.

NEW PEKE/NO NAME YET!
We just got this little guy. We asked Roger and Lucinda what to name him. Here's what Roger suggested: Sir Doomigidgeon Von Clapermeade Doolittle III. I love his sense of humor! He said we can call him Doo Doo for short. I cracked up!When he came to the shelter, he looked up questioning, "Who is going to take me?"Kay and Claretta went to the shelter to get him. They said they thought he should be called General because he was so confident as he came marching up to them. Oh, my, what will we name him?He settled right into the car seat, so he could see well on his ride to Roanoke, two hours away.A new life is beginning for you, little man. Now, all we need is a name. :-)

Linda - I am so glad you got him
How I wish I could take him for I know my "girls" would love him too.
I just wish I could call him "mine" !!!
What a beautiful Peke! I too wish I could name him "Mine"! I had a male Peke that I named Confucius Peking and called him Peking. Had other Pekes named Chang Fu and Ping Pong.

He IS very regal looking! So handsome! Doesn't have that look that most have, that oh my, what is going to happen to me know? He just looks like he is headed to his next adventure. Maybe he should be called Rocky!
