CHARLIE BEAR

Meet Charlie-Bear. He just came to us from a Maryland shelter. Someone signed up to adopt him, but they never came. He is a beautiful boy, and was shaved down-- lots of them have to be since they are in such rough shape. I'm sure with the hot weather we are having, he likes this cut!He has very pretty coloring-- he turns around so we could have a picture of his back.I'm glad they were able to save his fluffy tail though. Some have to have that shaved-- so sad. He is a happy boy, and listens to his foster mom when she gives directions. He is with two other dogs and doing fine. They are both "beta" dogs-- no need to be alpha. When it's time to go to bed, his foster just says, "Let's go to bed," and he goes to his open crate. The door is open, but he likes to go in there. It's his safe place. He is housetrained, too. I love that! He is about 1 1/2 years old and 14 pounds. If you think he would fit in your home, please email us! potomacpekes@gmail.com.
